Boy oh boy am I behind in blogging my weddings from the summer of 2012 and beyond. Here we go back a wickedly hot day in July for Whitney & Chayse’s vintage inspired wedding at the Old Timer’s Cabin in Edmonton> I met up with the girls up north for hair and make-up before heading to the hotel to capture them getting ready. I am in love with Whitney’s beautiful lace dress! And well, really, who can resist all the girly sparkly things? Once we were ready, we headed to the Old Timer’s Cabin for the ceremony and then wandered around Kinsmen Park and the area for the wedding party photos before I snuck Whitney & Chayse away on their own for a little bit in Mill Creek Ravine for some couple’s photos. We headed back to the reception for a great evening of speeches and dancing while we all melted a little from the heat. It was a great day! Congratulations Whitney & Chayse!!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Wintery vintage-inspired tablescape in the Edmonton river valley
The winter tends to be a bit slow for Edmonton wedding photographers so that’s the time we get to have lots of fun and create inspiration shoots. Let’s rewind a few months to February for this wintery vintage-inspired tablescape designed by Edmonton Wedding Planner Julia Pringle from Once Upon Your Day. We had waited until February in hopes of having lots of snow… no such luck there! At least there as little bit of snow so things weren’t barren, but we were hoping for piles of the white stuff to complement this white and creme table set up with hints of red from the surrounding cherry trees. The fabulous rosette table linen and beaded chargers were from Elegant Touches, the chair covers and jewelled accents were from A Chair to Remember and the gorgeous cameo-inspired cakes were made by Style Cakes. The vintage-inspired brooch bouquet was by by the Wild Orchid Flower Shop. The retro chandelier was from my studio (originally purchased from Urban Barn). The menu card was from PinkPolka Design.
