Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Evette & Arthur | U of A Faculty Club wedding

We’re heading back to August for Evette & Arthur’s wedding at the U of A Faculty Club here in Edmonton. It was a gorgeous Friday wedding surrounded by friends and family and Evette looked amazing with lots of purple details. I loved the black callas in here bouquet, but I think, what I loved even more, was the photos of family tucked into the bouquet so that they were there with her too. Arthur was so sweet and I loved his tears, looking at those photos now, still makes me a little misty-eyed! The ceremony and reception were at the U of A Faculty Club and we did all of the “formals” outside on the grounds after the ceremony before going back inside for the reception. It was a beautiful wedding with two amazing people that I’m so happy I was there to witness it all!

Such a beautiful way to have loved ones who are no longer with us close by on the wedding day.

Arthur is so sweet… he was tearing up in anticipation of seeing Evette!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Patti & Raj’s wedding | Convocation Hall & Mirage Banquet Hall

Well, we’re going all the back to June for this one. June 18th, to be exact. We met up with Patti & Raj at the Meterra Hotel on Whyte where Patti and the girls were getting ready on a very rainy day in Edmonton. The ladies were looking fabulous and I think that I took my most favourite getting ready image ever here (it’s the one of Patti by the window in back view… I just love it). After the girls were done getting ready, we went downstairs where Patti & Raj had their first look before heading off to do the wedding party portraits. It was raining so hard that day that decided to shoot in a parkade, and well, I love the parkade shots!

After the group shots we headed off to the fabulous ceremony at Convocation Hall. Slightly after the big kiss, the weather started to clear and we were able to take advantage of the brilliant green leaf-covered walls after the rain for a few more portraits of our Bride and Groom together before we hit the road to the Mirage Banquet Hall where the reception was held. And did you check out Patti’s awesome all white orchid bouquet from the Wild Orchid Flower Shop? The reception was a great party, especially they had Urban Metropolis rockin’ the house all night! We ended the night with a bit of a photobooth. It was such a great time and I was so happy to be there to capture it all! Congratulations Patti & Raj!!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Evette & Arthur | Faculty Club Wedding Sneak Peak

Here we are, moving along to Evettte and Arthur’s fabulous wedding at the U of A Faculty Club on August 12th. I love Friday weddings! It’s nice to be able to go out and photograph and not worry about running into lots of other wedding parties, especially when you choose to do photos on the U of A campus, it’s quite the destination for wedding photos in Edmonton. This is one of my favourite shots of Evette & Arthur because they look so darn stylish!

Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Amy & Andre’s Edmonton wedding at St Josaphat’s & the Coast East in Sherwood Park

August 14th was a super hot date for a wedding in 2010, and I nabbed a couple to match the date! I absolutely adored Amy from the moment I first met her, and while I just got to meet Andre just recently, I’m pretty fond of him too!

I met up with Amy and her ladies and her parent’s home in Sherwood Park. Such a friendly bunch of girls helped to get the day off to a great start! Andre’s niece Tabitha (one of the super awesome flowergirls) had a camera in hand at all times and we had fun taking pictures together! We worked together on photographing the awesome flowers from Laurel’s on Whyte that arrived while we were hanging out. After easily one of the most relaxed getting readys i’ve ever witnessed, the limo showed up to whisk everyone away to the church back in Edmonton.

The ceremony was at St Josaphat’s, and I am in love with it! Easily one of the most beautiful churches in Edmonton! The ceremony was beautiful and I love how most of it was sung! After all was sealed with a kiss, we headed out to take photographs of the family on the steps. This was quite the undertaking, but also had the help of the Ladies from Jennifer Bergman Weddings. I can’t say enough good thing about them, so if you’re in the market for a wedding planner, check them out!

After the family photos we headed over to the U of A near the old Art’s building to do the bridal party photos and had a blast! Everyone was chanelling their inner model, I swear!

Once everyone had enough of posing for the camera, we got ready to head out to the reception at the Coast Edmonton East in Sherwood Park. The room was beautiful and the food was tasty! Before long there was a flurry of cake, dancing and the throwing of some intimate objects! I love it when people hit the floor diving for the bouquet and garter. When we left, the party was in full swing and everyone was having a great time!

Congratulations Amy and Andre, so happy that i could be there to capture such a perfect day!
