This is the PERFECT bouquet for a fall wedding! It totally brings in the colours of Autumn in Edmonton and it’s just a gorgeous piece created by the Wild Orchid Flower Shop. I love those little round yellow balls (Craspedia, I think)…. I would use them everywhere if I could.. so cute! And those spiky orange mums… and not don’t foget the orchids, of course!
I was poking around through my hard drives recently and realized I had a ton of bouquet images that I shot for the Wild Orchid Flower Shop that I hadn’t blogged yet! So, watch out! There’s a series of 12 awesome bouquets on the way to get you thinking about your wedding flowers!
This one is super bright and funky with hot pink gerberas, those pretty blue orchids (dendrobiums) and birds of paradise for a pop of orange! I really like the green gems in the centre of the daisies and I love the metal on the handle!

Subtle shades of creme are present in the roses and hydrangeas, brown brought in from the willow twigs and rich brown satin wrap, and the green, of course, from hypericum berries and orchids. Lots of pretty details from this wedding at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary! Lots of pink and orchids and sweet treats! Will add a few more later, but for now… check out the awesome guestbook table with the favours which acted as placecards and the rockin’ 4 tier cake covered in more orchids! Um, and did I mention the gorgeous orchid centrepieces?? Oh, and I am in love with Mina’s bouquet… pretty pink peonies! The gorgeous flowers were from Sensational Stemz in Calgary.
