Edmonton Event Photographer | Site 6 Events launch at the Trans-alta Arts Barn

I don’t mean to be neglectful to my poor blog… so much has happened since the summer that I haven’t posted yet, shame on me!

This gorgeous set of photos takes us back to September with the launch of Site 6 Events at the Trans-Alta Arts Barn with some of the most stunning visual displays I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. There were awesome flowers by La Piazza Dasee, a gorgeous live grass installation in one of the seating areas and under a few tables, and a gorgeous tablescape orchestrated by ID Bohemia and Site 6 featuring flowers from La Piazza Dasee, stationary by Pinkpolka Design and linens from Elegant Touches.

Here are some of my favourite detail shots from the night! So many pretty things to look at!

These glass hanging bubbles add lots of sparkle and are a great way to show off flowers in a table design.

Love the black flocked sheer chandelier curtains! Would make a great backdrop for a wedding head table!

Wedding Bouquet Inspiration | Glam Red & Black wedding flowers with French Netting

This fabulous red and black bouquet is super glam and it is a very bold choice for a wedding bouquet! The red roses are covered by a layer of French netting (the stuff used for birdcage veils) and has a mix of black crystal for a little shine. There are hints of orange tucked into this bouquet, but i think it would be amazing with solid red roses. This bouquet is definitely making a statement! This bouquet was created by Janine Sebastian, formerly of La Piazza Dasee.

Wedding Bouquet Inspiration | Black Brooch Bouquet by La Piazza Dasee

How can I even use words to describe the sheer awesomeness of this black feather and brooch bouquet? It’s pretty much the epitome of all wedding bouquets. Looking for a little glamour? This one is it! So much sparkle! So very shiny! And, well, it’s Black! You can’t go wrong with black. It’s just amazing. This amazing bouquet was made by Janine Sebastian (formerly of La Piazza Dasee) and it’s just spectacular!

Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Ngan & Vinny | Transalta Arts Barn Wedding

Canada Day long weekend was a busy one! On the Saturday after Ashley & Kevin’s wedding, I second shot a fabulous wedding with Jill Coursen Photography at the Transalta Arts Barn. The Arts Barn is an interesting venue, but it’s one that is tricky to light! Before the ceremony, I joined Vinny and the boys at the Meterra Hotel to hang out while they got ready then we headed over just a few blocks to the Arts Barn for the ceremony. The lobby looked amazing set up for the ceremony!
