Oh boy I am ever excited about these new albums! They are absolutely stunning and they are just the perfect album to show off your wedding, or if you are that daring, they make a great boudoir album as well! The cover is totally customizable and it feels awesome! The pages of the album are meant to be touched and have a great silk feel. This is an album you’ll cherish for many years and is meant to be an heirloom (well, I don’t know if you’d want the family to have your boudoir album, but definitely pass along the wedding album!). These albums have a super fast turnaround time so you don’t have to wait months for them! Love them! Can’t wait to show you more of them!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Tierza & Matthew | Northern Bear Golf Course Wedding
Tierza and Matthew got married on a VERY warm day back in July. We met up with Matthew at their home where we took a few shots of everyone just hanging out and then a few family photos before heading off to meet up with Tierza and the girls for getting ready pictures. Well, we thought there would be getting ready pictures, but she was so excited to get ready that is was all done by the time we got there! So, we hung out in the back yard for photos and watched Tierza catch frogs (I honestly didn’t think there were frogs in Alberta, so I got a bit freaked out when one hopped at me! It’s been a long time since I’d seen them back East!) before heading over to the Northern Bear Golf course for the outdoor ceremony on the patio. After the ceremony, we stuck around the golf course doing photos before heading back to the reception early to do the cake cutting before it fell over from the heat. It was a great day and we had lots of fun!
A little bit of getting ready silliness.
I love how Moms can fix everything by licking, and they still do it, even when you are old enough to married!
Gosh, the hugs are sweet.
I’ve never seen a bride catch frogs on her wedding day before! We didn’t make Tierza kiss it since she already had her prince!
I love when the formal pictures get silly!

Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Anastasia & James | OTS Centennial wedding
Anastasia & James’ wedding was my 2nd of the weekend and it was still raining when I headed off to hang out with the girls getting ready and we feared the weather wasn’t going to co-operate for the day. It was looking a bit cheerier once the girls were ready to go to the ceremony at St John the Evangelist. Halfway through the ceremony, the rain dried up and the sun came out… and we knew that had to be a good sign!!
Look at how Anastasia’s Dad is looking at her, it’s so sweet!
Modern Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Tamara & Cory | Union Bank Inn wedding
If you thought the Canada Day long weekend was busy with Ashley & Kevin’s and Ngan & Vinny’s weddings, well, that doesn’t even compare to following weekend where I photographed three fantastic weddings! Tamara and Cory’s wedding was the first to kick of that super busy weekend!
I met up with Tamara while she was getting ready in a fabulous suite at the Union Bank Inn and we then headed down to the Ballroom to do a “First Look” with Cory. I love First Looks! It’s just nice to share that moment with just the two of you! After they spent a few minutes together, we got ready to do their portrait session before the ceremony. It was just pouring buckets that day, so we stuck to one of my favourite parkades for their photos. Nice modern, urban feel for the photos, and still very pretty! After wrapping up the portraits we went back to the Union Bank Inn for a lovely ceremony and a few speeches! It was a great day with two fabulous people!
I love Tamara’s dress, it was gorgeous! I couldn’t stop taking photos of it, but here’s two of my favourites!
This fabulous bouquet was made by the Wild Orchid Flower Shop. Love it!
Oh! Just look at Cory’s face when he gets his first glimpse of Tamara!
