I met with Tracey and Marek outside the studio today for a mini engagement shoot around the Jasper/105 St area. Their wedding is coming up in June and I am so very excited to shoot it! They are so snuggly and at ease with each other, it made my job easy! Here’s just a few! Will write more later when I’m not so sleepy and when I’m a little wittier! For now, pretty pictures will do the trick!

Edmonton Photographer | Studio is coming together!
Just a quick update on the studio, still not done but we’re getting closer! Actually have shot a little in there for practice and you can see some of those photos on the portrait blog – http://www.envphotography.com/edmontonurbanportraits/
Edmonton Photographer | ENV Photography update!
Wow! A lot has happened in the past little while! The studio space is coming along nicely (non-blackberry photos are coming soon!) and I’m super excited to be in there! The biggest news is that I am officially a full-time photographer now! I’m a little scared about not having a regular pay cheque, I have to admit, but so very excited to devote my time to just photography now!
The studio space is almost done, and while I still have to commit to purchasing studio lighting, the studio side will soon be available for hourly and daily rental soon! If interested in renting, e-mail me at elizabeth@envphotography.com for more details! I’m trying to keep the cost lower so it’s more accessible!
Since I do have an awesome studio space, I will be offering pin-up and in-studio boudoir sessions soon too! So very exciting!
So, look forward to the details for upcoming pin-up sessions and especially the ENV Open House. A picture update of the tudio space is coming soon! Also super excited that it’s almost wedding season!
Edmonton Photographer | One more studio update….! Construction is done!
It’s been a busy past few days, especially with me being such a Klutz and rolling my ankle. Spent a good chunk of yesterday in an emergency room and the doctors still can’t decide if my ankle is fractured or just sprained. Apparently the x-ray looked a bit weird! So my gimpy leg has slowed me down a little, but I’m happy to say that the major construction on the space is now done! Just have to finish the outlets and wiring in the new chandeliers, and then it’s done! Well, then the fun part starts! I’ve been looking forward to furniture shopping, and will hopefully have everything set up and ready to go this weekend! Also need to order the studio lights, so much to do! Open House is looking to be in the first part of May… will keep posted!
So here’s a few more photos. I’m in love with the floors, all pretty and shiny!
Oh Green Crush, how I love thee! Another studio update!
The walls are done! Lots of exposed concrete still, and then smooth, pretty drywall on the rest! Everything’s been painted out with several coats of Ultra Pure White, but the best part is the rockin’ green wall in Green Crush! It’s just perfect! Look at it! The floor is also starting to go in and I can’t wait to stop by tomorrow night to see it!
I did a little furniture shopping yesterday, but I have yet to find the perfect chandelier… I will hunt for that on Wednesday, I think.
In the meantime, check out the awesome paint job! Trevor and Darlene are the best! If you’re looking for a contractor, they are the ones! The did a wicked job on our kitchen and our fence, and just look at what they can do to a scary basement!
