Andrea’s mini Dolled-Up! session – childrens portrait photography

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

A couple weeks ago I had a little meet and greet in the studio for my niece and I managed to do a mini Dolled-Up! session with one of the cute little girls who came to visit! Andrea is just adorable with those curls… look at her go!

Family shoot – The Dalton Family with the grandkids!

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

My Mom and Dad were in town for a little over a month since the arrival of my niece Arianna. The day before they flew back home, they came into the studio to do a session with Isabella and Arianna, my nieces.  Arianna was a little sleepy but pretty co-operative, and Isabella was her little devilish self (well, maybe i should call her impish, especially the shot with her tongue hanging out where she is up to no good!) and wasn’t really feeling up have her photo taken (I think she needed a nap) but we still managed to get enough to make Meme and Papa happy!

Engagement session with Amber & Bill at the Calgary Zoo

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

This past weekend I travelled to Calgary to hang out at the Zoo with Bill and Amber for their engagmeent session. Their wedding is just a few months away and I am really excited for it! It will be my first Red Deer wedding! We met Saturday and wandered around the ENMAX Conservatory in the garden and in the butterfly area. So many pretty flowers and the butterflies were gorgeous, although a little standoffish as they seemed to prefer the pink shirts of the little army of Sparks girls, rather than land on us. The other highlight of the day, and I will spare the photographic evidence, but just as we were getting ready to leave, one of the lemurs I was trying to take a picture of turned around, showed me his bum, and then tried to pee on us!

Oh, check out Amber’s awesome engagement ring – though I do love diamonds, I like to see pretty colours in the rings too!

Downtown Edmonton engagement session with Tracey & Marek

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

I met with Tracey and Marek outside the studio today for a mini engagement shoot around the Jasper/105 St area. Their wedding is coming up in June and I am so very excited to shoot it! They are so snuggly and at ease with each other, it made my job easy! Here’s just a few! Will write more later when I’m not so sleepy and when I’m a little wittier! For now, pretty pictures will do the trick!
