A month back I photographed a fabulous wedding at the Northern Bear Golf Course in Sherwood Park. It was my first time there and I loved it as a wedding venue! There are so many windows that the light for the reception is just fabulous! Here’s one of my favourite shots from the reception from the first dance with Tierza and Matthew.
It’s such a sweet and private moment, I love it!
August 14th was a super hot date for a wedding in 2010, and I nabbed a couple to match the date! 
I absolutely adored Amy from the moment I first met her, and while I just got to meet Andre just recently, I’m pretty fond of him too!
I met up with Amy and her ladies and her parent’s home in Sherwood Park. Such a friendly bunch of girls helped to get the day off to a great start! Andre’s niece Tabitha (one of the super awesome flowergirls) had a camera in hand at all times and we had fun taking pictures together! We worked together on photographing the awesome flowers from Laurel’s on Whyte that arrived while we were hanging out. After easily one of the most relaxed getting readys i’ve ever witnessed, the limo showed up to whisk everyone away to the church back in Edmonton.
The ceremony was at St Josaphat’s, and I am in love with it! Easily one of the most beautiful churches in Edmonton! The ceremony was beautiful and I love how most of it was sung! After all was sealed with a kiss, we headed out to take photographs of the family on the steps. This was quite the undertaking, but also had the help of the Ladies from Jennifer Bergman Weddings. I can’t say enough good thing about them, so if you’re in the market for a wedding planner, check them out!
After the family photos we headed over to the U of A near the old Art’s building to do the bridal party photos and had a blast! Everyone was chanelling their inner model, I swear!
Once everyone had enough of posing for the camera, we got ready to head out to the reception at the Coast Edmonton East in Sherwood Park. The room was beautiful and the food was tasty! Before long there was a flurry of cake, dancing and the throwing of some intimate objects! I love it when people hit the floor diving for the bouquet and garter. When we left, the party was in full swing and everyone was having a great time!
Congratulations Amy and Andre, so happy that i could be there to capture such a perfect day!
Tracey & Marek’s wedding had a yellow, white & black daisy theme. The lovely linens were provided by Special Event Rentals.
Saturday, June 12, 2010 found me in Sherwood Park, AB for Tracey and Marek’s daisy themed wedding on a super warm summer day. The Ceremony and Recption took place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, with the reception in the hall underneath the church. We headed East with a very large wedding party to do the “formal” shots on a side road, pretty much in the middle of nowhere! At least we didn’t have to worry about other bridal parties being in the way since we had the place to ourselves, just with the occasional visit from the locals driving through! The reception was a great time and it the evening kicked off with a traditional Polish Bread & Salt blessing and also the vodka/water shots to determine who get’s to “wear the pants” in the house… Tracey got the vodka shot!
