Lindsay and Cory’s wedding in Edmonton on July 31, 2010 had lots of cool details. Cory had proposed to Lindsay in Las Vegas, so small gambling details were a great idea to add as a theme. The colours for the wedding were purple and green, one of my favourite colour combinations (my wedding colours were purple and green, although on the super bright end of the spectrum). I adored the cake and the awesome ribbon detail and look at the tiny dice that were on the programs. Later into the night, you had to roll a pair of dice to get the couple to kiss, very cool!

This is kinda fun! I knew when I took this ring shot that it was going to be fabulous. I submitted it for fun to the Wedding Photographic Society, just because, and it won second place in the details category. Go me! Gosh, I love getting my hands on the wedding rings! On July 10, I decided to hang out with my friend Amy of Island in the Mist Photography while she shot a wedding and I brought my camera along for a little fun. It’s kinda nice not always having the pressure of being the one that has to get the shot! And of course, with having a Saturday off in the summer, it just didn’t seem right to not go to a wedding! I just snapped a few between stints as the driver. Also my first time with a horse in wedding photos! Larry is the horse that Candace competes in rodeos with!

After the marathon was over (or close to it, because I ran a little over time), Chris stopped by to let me photograph his newly purchased engagement ring! Earlier today I received an e-mail from Chris saying that she said yes this weekend! Congratulations to Chris and Debra!
