I’ve decided to not just restrict myself to wedding and boudoir photography anymore. That’s right, it’s portrait time! Kids, families, maternity, seniors… now everyone can have fabulous, ENViable images… oh bad pun, shame on me!

I met with Erin and Tyler downtown yesterday to do a quick engagement session. We met by the Union Bank Inn and I had wanted to shoot in the little courtyard at Telus Plaza, but of course, we found it locked on the weekend. So we started off with a few shots in the food court to get warmed up, then went to the escalators where we got some of my new favourite images ever!
Afterwards we went to the little park beside Telus Plaza and this is where I shot Erin’s gorgeous blue-green sapphire engagement ring! It’s a stunner! We finished off the session at Hotel MacDonald where they will be having their wedding reception in just a few weeks! I am so very excited for their wedding! Here’s a few shots of this gorgeous couple!
On August 8, 2009, I photographed my first wedding that had an awesome lion dance! Talk about great entertainment with the colours and the movement and the drums! It was fantastic! The ceremony and reception was held at the Boun Thai restaurant on 107 st and Jasper Ave and we snuck away to the river valley where we were surrounded by huge bouncing grasshoppers and a little park tucked away in Oliver to photograph the gorgeous bride and groom. We also went to the legislature grounds to photograph the family and Adeline and Chris with their close friends. The food was tasty (I love green curry!) and the reception had some very pretty details! I loved the monkey cake topper and the guest favours were oh so pretty! Here’s just a few!

This past week I had an awesome Rock the Dress session with Cara who was married just about two months ago. A gorgeous bride to start with, but boy was her dress hot! We shot in some alleys around Whyte Ave and Jasper Ave, and small hill in the river valley. I loved her red shoes and the strap detailing on her dress, and I am ever so thankful of the lovely ladies at Best Buds in Oliver Square who put together this awesome yellow, pink and white bouquet for me on very short notice!
