When I woke up yesterday, it was cold and cloudy, and I was ok with that… but it ended up being a gorgeous sunny day for Jenni and Travis’s wedding in Edmonton. Jenni got ready at her parent’s house, sourounded by a small army of bridesmaids and family, and Travis got ready at his and Jenni’s home, and from what I hear, were being just a little goofy. The ceremony was in the lobby of the Winspear Centre and was just beautiful. I actually started to get a bit misty-eyed during the vows!
After the ceremony, we shot the “formals” by the Citadel Theatre, the High Level bridge (we had to drive through the Legislature grounds to get good parking – what a circus that place is for weddings! I’m glad we used more interesting and less populated areas for our photos), had the family shots at jackie Parker Park and finished with night shots at Woodvale.
The reception at Woodvale was lovely! The food, as always, was spectacular! The golf course had the softest grass and boy was I happy to just take my shoes off and wander around out there after a long day!
Congratulations to the fabulous bride and groom!
