This shoot has been in the works for a while waiting for scheduling and the right sort of weather. We were set to go Friday but it was pouring buckets so we postponed the shoot until Sunday. I found this awesome dress a few months ago and loved how it was a funky alternative to the classic wedding dress and the stripes made me think of Tim Burton for some reason. I put together the black birdcage veil and black feathered headpiece to, again, sway from the traditional. I thought it would be perfect for a Rock the Dress session. Alysha looks amazing and I am more than happy with how the photos turned out.
We went to Fort Saskatchewan to shoot and ran into some of Alysha’s friends who were more than willing to let us play with their cars – I’m still amazed at what those cars could do! The weather was a mix of sun and clouds, but it decided to rain and then turn to hail as clung to the grass on the side of a steep enbankment shooting up – at that point I decided to pack it up an return to Edmonton where we had a few more shots with an awesome blue metal wall. Here’s a few from the day! Tell me what you think!!
