This past week I was in BC for my 2 year wedding anniversary with my honey. While we were in Vancouver, I photographed a few boudoir sessions. We were staying in a rockin’ hotel so I had to take advantage of the beautiful room. My first session was with Vaia – she’s an absolute stunner! Here’s a few photos from her boudoir session! Check out the awesome vintage-inspired lingerie by Melons and Sweetcheeks that Vaia was wearing! You can buy the goodies on etsy – http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6858006

Sassy boudoir in Vancouver with Vaia
Sunday, May 24th, 2009Busy in BC!
Friday, May 22nd, 2009Wow! This past week was busy! I’ve got tons of photos but no time to edit them! Still on vacation but we’ve just made it back into Alberta today. Currently in Jasper after spending a few days in Vancouver, Kamloops and Golden. Had a great time visiting the Vancouver Aquarium and had a few sassy photoshoots while I was in town. Will have lots of pictures to show, but here is one of my favourites from the Vancouver Aquarium in the meantime. I’m scared of fish, but this one is gorgeous!

Second shooting e-session – Dylan and Kelita in Edmonton
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Last evening I headed off to the Alberta Legislature grounds to meet up with Elana of Starshine Photography, and her couple, Kelita and Dylan, to shoot their engagement session. I’ll be joining them to second shoot their wedding in July. This was the first time I ever had a session on the grounds and there are some really pretty spots there. I tried to stay in the background as much as I could and I got some beautiful shots!

Blue skies and pouring rain – Sandra and Evan get married in Stony Plain!
Sunday, May 10th, 2009Yesterday, May 2/09, we ventured for a little drive West to Stony Plain under glorious blue skies to get ready for Sandra and Evan’s wedding. The weather was great while we were getting ready and as we left for the ceremony we could se the dark clouds creeping in… After the delightful Ceremony at the Blueberry Community Hall (I love the name!), as everyone stepped outside for family pictures, the now black skies opened up and started to pour. So much for the family photos outside – there weren’t enough umbrellas, so back inside we went. However, we had a brave bridal party, and we were ready with a small army of umbrellas, so we went out to Centennial Park to start the wedding party photos. In spite of the neverending and bitterly cold rain (I must add the the wind also decided to pick up and it felt more like January for a while as opposed to being May!) and constantly fighting to keep the rain off my lenses, we took some great pictures before heading about 2 kilometres away to the outdoor skatepark in Stony Plain where the skies just so happened to be an amazing shade of blue… and the sun came back in full force in time to do a few more fun formals before heading back to the Hall for dinner and dancing! Sandra looked amazing, Evan was dashing, and the bridal party, gorgeous! The flowers were beautiful (Panda Flowers in Spruce Grove), the food was tasty (Elizabethan Catering), and the cake was a masterpiece (Bake Me A Cake)! It couldn’t have been a more perfect day!
West Edmonton Wedding – Frankie and Garth are married!
Monday, May 4th, 2009On May 2, 2009 Frankie and Garth got married! The bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome and the wedding was a great time! I joined Frankie at her parent’s home to get ready where I got to get my hands on her beautiful rings and did some rockin’ ring shots, if I do say so myself! We had some fun in the backyard doing more formal photos before we headed off to the ceremony at the River West Christian Church. The ceremony was beautiful and everyone looked amazing! After the ceremony, we chased Garth and Frankie in their getaway car (Garth’s ’65 GTO… hot!) to a friend’s acreage close by where we did more photos. We wrapped up the night at the Clymont Community Hall and put an end to a perfect day! Congratulations to Frankie and Garth!
