Earlier today, Jenny came over to do the shoot that we have been trying to do forever and it finally worked out today, except that it was the windiest day ever. She has an album in the works and the sessions today with be used for the album and for promotion, pretty cool hey? We went about various parts of downtown Edmonton, some spots being far seedier than others. Our last stop was the sketchiest with random weirdos wandering around yelling and some junkies spazzing out across the street, one apprently was convulsing for some unknown reason and another had an issue with dropping his pants… good ol’ Edmonton! In spite of the windy weather and the weirdos, we took some great photos and Jenny is just gorgeous! Ok boys, start drooling… who can resist a girl with a guitar???

I’ve booked an awesome suite at a boutique hotel on Whyte Ave (The Air Studio at the Metterra, to be specific)for a boudoir marathon from July 17 – July 19, 2009.

Each session will be one hour long and you do have the option of make-up and hair on site at an additional cost of $90 – please come 1 hour prior to your session for make-up and hairstyling.

While we were in Vancouver last week, we spent a lot of time with our good friends Kara and Kellyn. The Last time I had seen Kellyn was around the time of my wedding 2 years ago and he was our “ringmaster” (we had given him the title of ringbearer, but he liked ringmaster better, and it wasn’t entirely inappropriate, since weddings can be a bit of a circus!) and Kara was my Maid of Honour. Sortly before we hit the road to head back to Edmonton, Kara was finally able to convince Kellyn to let us take a few pictures, and here are a few!

Last week I met up with Sarah at the pole dance studio where she teaches in Vancouver to do a photo session showing off the beautiful lingerie that she designs. You have seen awesome bullet bras and panties in a few other boudoir sessions, they have a sexy vintage appeal. A week after the fact, looking back at the photos, I am still in awe of Sarah’s sheer athletic ability! It’s amzing what she could do on a pole! On my third day in Vancouver, I had the pleasure of meeting Shelley and shooting a boudoir session with her. She is just lovely and photographed so very well!
